Catholic Argument:

... [T]here are some early Christian catacomb scenes that portray episodes from the Apocrypha, showing that the early Christian community was familiar with and used the Apocrypha.

Answering the Catholic Argument:

The Catacombs Argument is Not Convincing

The fact that some scenes from the Apocrypha are portrayed on the walls of catacombs does not mean the apocryphal books are canonical. It simply means that some of the events recorded in apocryphal books were meaningful enough to some people that they drew pictures [of these events] on the wall. Drawings on walls are hardly a test for canonicity.

There are also numerous events recorded in the Old and New Testament canonical books that are not found on catacomb walls, but this does not mean the books are not canonical. In the same way, using reverse logic, the fact that certain scenes from the Apocrypha are recorded on catacomb walls does not mean they belong in the canon. (39-40)
