DISCLAIMERS
AND INTRODUCTION
A
WORD TO KJV ONLYISTS WHO ARE CONSIDERING E MAILING ME:
(a)
I used to be somewhat willing to listen to complaints from
angry KJVOs, but no more;
things have changed:
You
need to read over my policies regarding receiving hate
e-mail (which has a KJVO section) and e-mail
in general. This site exists as an online resouce:
I do not list my e mail address for purposes of dialogue and
debate with site visitors. My address is there for people
who may want to submit new links and the like.
I
am not interested in receiving any pro- KJV Onlyist literature.
Please do not e-mail me with information, links, charts or
anything else promoting your stance. I will not view them.
I
am not interested in debating people via e-mail about the
Bible versions controversy, or about which family of manuscripts
is "the best" or any other such topic.
I have been involved in the KJV Only debate since around the
mid to late 1990s. I have already heard all the arguments
and points against the NIV and other modern versions, as well
as the arguments against the Critical Texts.
I
am very satisfied with my NIV and NASB and know that they
are the word of God, thank you.
Please
save your time and mine and don't write to me insisting that
I hate the KJV, that I am "against" the KJV or God,
or that I am not a "Bible believer" or what have
you.
I've
heard it all before (many, many times over), and I've already
been told I'm a hell bound heathen and have been called every
name in the book, from "Alexandrian cultist" to
"Bible corrector" from various KJV Onlyists over
the years.
I
can assure you that you have nothing new to add that I haven't
come across before, whether by way of insult or information.
(b)
I am not in complete agreement with all views in every site
and page linked to here in the KJV Onlyism section of my site,
and this goes for the rest of the site as well.
Further, if you are unhappy with the contents of an off-site
article I am linked to from my site and wish to complain about
it, you need to contact the owner of that site and not me.
I mention this because I have had one KJV Onlyist individual
write to me who does not understand how links on the web works.
He seems to assume that if I am linked to an article from
my site that I am somehow responsible for that article, even
though I did not write it, or even though I do not host it
on my site.
(c)
This site is not "officially" affiliated with BVDB
(Bible Versions Discussion Board) -- meaning, if you have
a question, comment, or complaint about the "KJV Onlyism
is a False Teaching," section of this site,
do
not e-mail all the moderators at BVDB.
